11. Take that Sick Day

You have sick time. If you aren’t feeling well or your stress levels are skyrocketing, take a day off. Don’t abuse your time, but don’t be afraid to use it when you need it. Whether you’ve got a cold coming on or you’re dragging your feet, a day off can give you a boost. Turn off the phone, break out the chicken soup, and climb into bed. Stay put and don’t do a lick of work. Make yourself a priority. When you’re recharged and refreshed, you’ll be able to handle your problems. Your stress will stay under control as well.
