5. Don’t be a Loner

When you are feeling stressed or down, you may tend to close yourself off from the rest of the world. This is the last thing you want to do. When you’re on your own, problems can seem hard to handle. Make an effort to reach out to others. Accept the invitation to go out to dinner. Give your best friend a call. Drop by and visit with your family. Distract yourself from whatever is stressing you out. You’ll find that your problems don’t seem as important when you get out of your head.
