3. Get Your Beauty Sleep

Sleep is more than a luxury. It’s a necessity, yet so many of us fail to get the rest that we need. You should be catching at least 6 to 8 hours of rest as a rule of thumb. When you lay your head down on your pillow and drift away, your body is undergoing repairs. That includes optimizing your circulatory system. It’s a natural way to recharge. When you don’t get enough sleep, you get run down and everything in your body feels off. If you don’t have a good sleep regimen, it’s time to start. You need a routine that you can stick to on a nightly basis. Don’t eat past 7 PM and avoid anything that is going to stress you out or wind you up before bed. Read, watch a light comedy, or listen to relaxing music. Your room should be cool, dark, and quiet. Sleep well every night and you’ll feel the difference.
