15 Tips To Help You Sleep Better, Naturally
4. Combat End-of-Day Drowsiness
A lot of people find that they get sleepy several hours before their bed time. If your bed time is midnight and you’re tired around 10 p.m., by all means, change your bed time to 10 p.m.! However, if you find yourself exhausted after dinner, that’s probably not a realistic time to go to sleep. To stay awake for a few more hours, don’t do things that will make you more sleepy, like drinking tea, reading or watching TV. Instead, get up and do something stimulating, like cleaning the house, prepping your outfit for the next day or talking to a friend on the phone. If you give in to the drowsiness and take a nap at the end of the day, you’ll have a hard time going to sleep at your regular bed time.
